Orthopedic Therapy

Orthopedics is the field of medicine which concerns the musculoskeletal system: bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Our therapists will work with you to discover the cause of your musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction and create a plan to get you back to normal.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Proceeding an operation, patients will often need physical therapy to reduce pain and restore strength and range of motion. At River Valley Sports & Physical Therapy, we excel at coordinating with your surgeon and doctor to develop a program that will lead to complete rehabilitation.

Women's Health

Our Women's Health Specialist has advanced training in the function of muscles and structures in and around the pelvis. We can help with pain and impairments due to injury, disease, or other causes.

-  bladder and bowel issues including incontinence, frequency issues, and pain

-  pain in the pelvic region including the abdominal area, hip, tailbone, and pelvic floor

-  musculoskeletal issues of pregnancy and postpartum including low and mid back pain, SI joint problems, and other joint issues associated with pregnancy

Vestibular & Balance Therapy

This type of therapy uses exercise-based treatment to reduce symptoms of vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance. Improving balance will enhance agility and speed for athletes, improve posture, and reduce the risk of falls

Custom Orthotics

Custom foot orthotics can reduce pain of the foot, ankle, and leg caused by conditions such as arthritis, bunions, and plantar fasciitis. Our therapists will be able to assess your need for custom orthotics and ensure you receive the perfect fit.
